ROB HAFF

Rob was born and raised in Miami, where he grew up as a printer’s son in a community of underwater photographers. After college his passion for the craft deepened, and he transformed the bathroom of his Miami Beach apartment into a makeshift darkroom, equipping it with an enlarger inherited from his father’s graphics arts business. Since then, his photographic pursuits have taken him around the world. While Rob still occasionally shoots film, he primarily works with digital cameras now, especially during his travels.

Rob is now a full-time world photographer based in Asheville, NC. Many of Rob’s images have received international recognition and have garnered awards in international competitions. His photography has been shown in solo and group exhibitions in Miami, Naples (Italy), Minneapolis, Vermont and Fort Lauderdale. His photographs have been published in Lenswork Magazine, Outdoor Photographer, Black & White Magazine, SHOTS Magazine, BLACK + WHITE PHOTOGRAPHY, Gulfstream Literary Magazine, and Blackbird Literary Magazine.
